Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Private Road by Lisa Ruyter was auctioned at Sothebys in London in October 2007. The price achieved of GBP 11,875.00 (€ 17,053.28) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Lisa Ruyter - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Top of The World, which sold at auction in May 2006 for USD 50,400.00 (€ 39,273.75).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Private Road von Lisa Ruyter kam im Oktober 2007 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 11.875,00 (€ 17.053,28) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Lisa Ruyter mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Top of The World beobachtet, die im Mai 2006 für USD 50.400,00 (€ 39.273,75) versteigert wurde.
