Auction result misses estimated price range
In September 2008 a collector was able to acquire the work Being There by Lisa Ruyter for USD 13,750.00 (€ 9,764.93). This price was achieved in the auction Contemporary Art at Sothebys in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 15,000.00 – 20,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Lisa Ruyter have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Top of The World in May 2006 with an auction result of USD 50,400.00 (€ 39,273.75).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im September 2008 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Being There von Lisa Ruyter für USD 13.750,00 (€ 9.764,93) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Contemporary Art bei Sothebys in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 15.000,00 – 20.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Lisa Ruyter auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Top of The World im Mai 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 50.400,00 (€ 39.273,75).
