Auction result misses estimated price range
In July 2015 a collector was able to acquire the work Greek Vases by Lisa Milroy for GBP 3,250.00 (€ 4,607.41). This price was achieved in the auction Post-War and Contemporary Art Day Auction at Christies in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 6,000.00 – 8,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Lisa Milroy have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Painting Fast, Painting Slow in November 2017 with an auction result of GBP 32,500.00 (€ 36,892.33).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juli 2015 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Greek Vases von Lisa Milroy für GBP 3.250,00 (€ 4.607,41) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Post-War and Contemporary Art Day Auction bei Christies in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 6.000,00 – 8.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Lisa Milroy auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Painting Fast, Painting Slow im November 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 32.500,00 (€ 36.892,33).
