Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Japanese Sweet by Lisa Milroy was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in March 2020. The price achieved of USD 3,000.00 (€ 2,720.10) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 2,000.00 – 4,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Lisa Milroy achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Painting Fast, Painting Slow in November 2017 with an auction result of GBP 32,500.00 (€ 36,892.33).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Japanese Sweet von Lisa Milroy kam im März 2020 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 3.000,00 (€ 2.720,10) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 2.000,00 – 4.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Lisa Milroy erzielen.
