Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Lisa Milroy achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in March 2021. In the Modern British Art Day Sale auction, the work Chinese Banquet sold for GBP 5,000.00 (€ 5,873.71) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 2,000.00. Admittedly, works by Lisa Milroy have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Painting Fast, Painting Slow in November 2017 with an auction result of GBP 32,500.00 (€ 36,892.33).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Lisa Milroy erzielte im März 2021 bei Christies in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Modern British Art Day Sale wurde die Arbeit Chinese Banquet für GBP 5.000,00 (€ 5.873,71) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 2.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Lisa Milroy auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Painting Fast, Painting Slow im November 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 32.500,00 (€ 36.892,33).
