Auction result misses estimated price range
In December 2021 a collector was able to acquire the work Tokyo (Aquariums, Vending Machines, Hair Dye) by Lisa Milroy for GBP 2,520.00 (€ 3,005.83). This price was achieved in the auction Contemporary Art | London at Sothebys in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 3,000.00 – 4,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Lisa Milroy achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Painting Fast, Painting Slow in November 2017 with an auction result of GBP 32,500.00 (€ 36,892.33).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Dezember 2021 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Tokyo (Aquariums, Vending Machines, Hair Dye) von Lisa Milroy für GBP 2.520,00 (€ 3.005,83) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Contemporary Art | London bei Sothebys in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 3.000,00 – 4.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Lisa Milroy erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Painting Fast, Painting Slow im November 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 32.500,00 (€ 36.892,33).
