Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Face by Li Yongbin was auctioned at Christies in London in July 2009. The price achieved of GBP 15,000.00 (€ 17,020.50) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 12,000.00 – 18,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Li Yongbin - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Face, which sold at auction in May 2007 for EUR 38,400.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Face von Li Yongbin kam im Juli 2009 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 15.000,00 (€ 17.020,50) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 12.000,00 – 18.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Li Yongbin mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Face beobachtet, die im Mai 2007 für EUR 38.400,00 versteigert wurde.
