This artwork by Li Yongbin achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Paris in May 2007. In the Art d'Après-Guerre et Contemporain auction, the work Face sold for EUR 38,400.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 20,000.00. This high result makes Face the most expensive artwork by Li Yongbin that we have observed at auctions so far.
