In November 2018 Sothebys in New York held the auction Impressionist & Modern Art Day Sale, which included the work Isle Of Loneliness by Leon Kelly. The auction ended at the price of USD 30,000.00 (€ 26,494.75), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of USD 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Other works by Leon Kelly have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in November 2019 the work The Messenger (Man With Kites) was auctioned for USD 50,000.00 (€ 45,376.17).

Im November 2018 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Isle Of Loneliness von Leon Kelly zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 30.000,00 (€ 26.494,75) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 20.000,00 – 30.000,00. Andere Arbeiten von Leon Kelly konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im November 2019 die Arbeit The Messenger (Man With Kites) für USD 50.000,00 (€ 45.376,17) versteigert.
