Screenprint in colors with collage on Arches paper, signed in pencil and numbered in Roman numerals XXXXIII/L, from the deluxe edition (there was also a regular edition of 175 in Arabic numerals), with the inkstamp on the reverse of the publisher on the Transworld Art, New York, printed by Chiron Press, New York, the full sheet.

Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Free Space (Pink) by Lee Krasner was sold in the Prints & MultiplesSummer Splash auction at Bonhams in New York in August this year. Here, the upper estimate of USD 7,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 7,680.00 (€ 7,085.52). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Lee Krasner achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Eye Is The First Circle in May 2019 with an auction result of USD 11,654,000.00 (€ 10,452,955.42).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Free Space (Pink) von Lee Krasner wurde im August diesen Jahres in der Auktion Prints & MultiplesSummer Splash bei Bonhams in New York versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 7.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 7.680,00 (€ 7.085,52) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Lee Krasner erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Eye Is The First Circle im Mai 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 11.654.000,00 (€ 10.452.955,42).
