It achieved a price of USD 18,750.00 (€ 15,158.86), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 56%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Leda Catunda - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Emelec, which sold at auction in November 2015 for USD 40,000.00 (€ 37,871.62).

Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 18.750,00 (€ 15.158,86) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 56%. Für andere Arbeiten von Leda Catunda mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Emelec beobachtet, die im November 2015 für USD 40.000,00 (€ 37.871,62) versteigert wurde.
