The »bidding war« ended at USD 25,000.00 (€ 20,211.82), 39% above the upper estimate. Other works by Leda Catunda have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of USD 40,000.00 (€ 37,871.62) in November 2015 for the work Emelec.
