A top price for Leda Catunda - as previously expected
The work Emelec by Leda Catunda was auctioned at Christies in New York in November 2015. The result of USD 40,000.00 (€ 37,871.62) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of USD 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Emelec is the most expensive artwork by Leda Catunda that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Die Arbeit Emelec von Leda Catunda kam im November 2015 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 40.000,00 (€ 37.871,62) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 40.000,00 – 60.000,00. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Emelec das teuerste Kunstwerk von Leda Catunda, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
