In the New Now auction, the work Bonbon Bronze Patine Bleue (No. 2768) sold for GBP 27,500.00 (€ 37,343.68) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 15,000.00. Admittedly, works by Laurence Jenkell have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Bonbon Aluminum Polimiroir in November 2019 with an auction result of USD 325,000.00 (€ 294,945.09).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Laurence Jenkell erzielte im Dezember 2015 bei Phillips in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion New Now wurde die Arbeit Bonbon Bronze Patine Bleue (No. 2768) für GBP 27.500,00 (€ 37.343,68) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 15.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Laurence Jenkell auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Bonbon Aluminum Polimiroir im November 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 325.000,00 (€ 294.945,09).
