This artwork by Laura Owens achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in New York in May 2021. In the Contemporary Art Day Auction auction, the work without title sold for USD 649,200.00 (€ 532,392.98) - well above the upper estimate of USD 350,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Laura Owens - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work without title, which sold at auction in November 2017 for USD 1,755,000.00 (€ 1,475,037.82).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Laura Owens erzielte im Mai 2021 bei Sothebys in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Contemporary Art Day Auction wurde diese Arbeit ohne Titel für USD 649.200,00 (€ 532.392,98) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 350.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Laura Owens mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit ohne Titel beobachtet, die im November 2017 für USD 1.755.000,00 (€ 1.475.037,82) versteigert wurde.
