Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Tambour 124' by Latifa Echakhch was sold in the 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale auction at Phillips in London in June 2017. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 70,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 75,000.00 (€ 85,411.01). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Latifa Echakhch - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Sitting on Haunches Behind the Bushes Until There is No Longer Any Noise and Breathing Slowly. Then Stand Up and Walk Away, which sold at auction in December 2015 for GBP 134,500.00 (€ 182,644.53).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Tambour 124' von Latifa Echakhch wurde im Juni 2017 in der Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale bei Phillips in London versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 70.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 75.000,00 (€ 85.411,01) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Latifa Echakhch mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Sitting on Haunches Behind the Bushes Until There is No Longer Any Noise and Breathing Slowly. Then Stand Up and Walk Away beobachtet, die im Dezember 2015 für GBP 134.500,00 (€ 182.644,53) versteigert wurde.
