Auction result well in line with expectations
The work A chaque stencil une révolution, une apres l'autre (For Each Stencil A Revolution, One After the Other) by Latifa Echakhch was sold in the First Open | Online auction at Christies in London in April 2019. The price achieved of GBP 5,000.00 (€ 5,816.44) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Latifa Echakhch achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Sitting on Haunches Behind the Bushes Until There is No Longer Any Noise and Breathing Slowly. Then Stand Up and Walk Away in December 2015 with an auction result of GBP 134,500.00 (€ 182,644.53).
