Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Sans Titre Xxiii by Latifa Echakhch was sold in the Contemporary Art Day Auction auction at Sothebys in London in June 2017. It changed hands for a price of GBP 37,500.00 (€ 42,705.50) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 30,000.00 – 40,000.00. Admittedly, works by Latifa Echakhch have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Sitting on Haunches Behind the Bushes Until There is No Longer Any Noise and Breathing Slowly. Then Stand Up and Walk Away in December 2015 with an auction result of GBP 134,500.00 (€ 182,644.53).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Sans Titre Xxiii von Latifa Echakhch wurde im Juni 2017 in der Auktion Contemporary Art Day Auction bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 37.500,00 (€ 42.705,50) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 30.000,00 – 40.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Latifa Echakhch auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Sitting on Haunches Behind the Bushes Until There is No Longer Any Noise and Breathing Slowly. Then Stand Up and Walk Away im Dezember 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 134.500,00 (€ 182.644,53).
