The work Sharon Wild from The Valley, 2001 by Larry Sultan was auctioned at Christies in Paris in November 2019. It achieved a price of EUR 13,750.00 exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 38 %. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Larry Sultan - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work My Mother Posing for Me from Pictures of Home, which sold at auction in October 2016 for USD 35,000.00 (€ 31,928.48).

Die Arbeit Sharon Wild from The Valley, 2001 von Larry Sultan kam im November 2019 bei Christies in Paris zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 13.750,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 38 %. Für andere Arbeiten von Larry Sultan mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit My Mother Posing for Me from Pictures of Home beobachtet, die im Oktober 2016 für USD 35.000,00 (€ 31.928,48) versteigert wurde.
