The price achieved of USD 8,960.00 (€ 8,099.80) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 7,000.00 – 10,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Larry Sultan - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work My Mother Posing for Me from Pictures of Home, which sold at auction in October 2016 for USD 35,000.00 (€ 31,928.48).
