It changed hands for a price of EUR 8,750.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 7,000.00 – 9,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Larry Sultan - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work My Mother Posing for Me from Pictures of Home, which sold at auction in October 2016 for USD 35,000.00 (€ 31,928.48).

Die Arbeit Practicing Golf Swing, aus der Serie „Pictures from Home“, 1983–1992. von Larry Sultan wurde im Juni 2021 in der Auktion Sommer 2021 - Photographie bei Grisebach versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 8.750,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 7.000,00 – 9.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Larry Sultan mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit My Mother Posing for Me from Pictures of Home beobachtet, die im Oktober 2016 für USD 35.000,00 (€ 31.928,48) versteigert wurde.
