In the Prints & Photographs | Bonhams Skinner auction, the work Batwings, Oro Ranch sold for USD 608.00 (€ 574.45) - well above the upper estimate of USD 300.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Kurt Markus achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Ranch, Paisley, Oregon, 1981 in May last year with an auction result of USD 6,930.00 (€ 6,457.93).
