In May last year Christies in New York held the auction Adams & Company: Photographs of the American West Including Property from the Peter Fetterman Collection, which included the work Ranch, Paisley, Oregon, 1982 by Kurt Markus. The price achieved of USD 3,780.00 (€ 3,522.50) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00.
