The work Gentlemen by Koon Wai Bong was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2018. The auction ended at the price of HKD 200,000.00 (€ 21,850.90), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of HKD 150,000.00 – 200,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Koon Wai Bong - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Gentlemen (Set Of Thirty-Six), which sold at auction in October 2016 for HKD 375,000.00 (€ 44,129.72).

Die Arbeit Gentlemen von Koon Wai Bong kam im Mai 2018 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von HKD 200.000,00 (€ 21.850,90) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 150.000,00 – 200.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Koon Wai Bong mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Gentlemen (Set Of Thirty-Six) beobachtet, die im Oktober 2016 für HKD 375.000,00 (€ 44.129,72) versteigert wurde.
