Artwork auctioned at four times the upper estimate price
The work Mercy by Konstantin Zvezdochetov was worth GBP 34,850.00 (€ 44,051.57) to a buyer in June 2008. This price was achieved in the auction Contemporary Art Day Sale at Phillips in London and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of GBP 7,000.00 many times over. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Konstantin Zvezdochetov - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Suffering Of The Christians And Savagery Of The Pagans, which sold at auction in November 2013 for GBP 74,500.00 (€ 89,650.78).

Die Arbeit Mercy von Konstantin Zvezdochetov war einem Käufer im Juni 2008 GBP 34.850,00 (€ 44.051,57) wert. Dieser Preise wurde in der Auktion Contemporary Art Day Sale bei Phillips in London erzielt und übertraf den zuvor angesetzten oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 7.000,00 um ein Vielfaches. Für andere Arbeiten von Konstantin Zvezdochetov mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Suffering Of The Christians And Savagery Of The Pagans beobachtet, die im November 2013 für GBP 74.500,00 (€ 89.650,78) versteigert wurde.
