Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Greater Romania (and all I know about it) by Konstantin Zvezdochetov was auctioned at Phillips in London in April 2014. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 15,000.00 – 20,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 16,250.00 (€ 19,780.01) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Konstantin Zvezdochetov have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Suffering Of The Christians And Savagery Of The Pagans in November 2013 with an auction result of GBP 74,500.00 (€ 89,650.78).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Greater Romania (and all I know about it) von Konstantin Zvezdochetov kam im April 2014 bei Phillips in London zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 15.000,00 – 20.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 16.250,00 (€ 19.780,01) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Konstantin Zvezdochetov auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Suffering Of The Christians And Savagery Of The Pagans im November 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 74.500,00 (€ 89.650,78).
