Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Kossaks by Konstantin Zvezdochetov was auctioned at Phillips in London in April 2017. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 7,000.00 – 9,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 7,500.00 (€ 8,906.38) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Konstantin Zvezdochetov achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Suffering Of The Christians And Savagery Of The Pagans in November 2013 with an auction result of GBP 74,500.00 (€ 89,650.78).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Kossaks von Konstantin Zvezdochetov kam im April 2017 bei Phillips in London zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 7.000,00 – 9.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 7.500,00 (€ 8.906,38) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Konstantin Zvezdochetov erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Suffering Of The Christians And Savagery Of The Pagans im November 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 74.500,00 (€ 89.650,78).
