In November 2013 Sothebys in London held the auction Contemporary East, which included the work Brother Mitenka Won'T Go To School (Jewish Wedding In Ukraine) by Konstantin Zvezdochetov. The auction ended at the price of GBP 30,000.00 (€ 36,100.98), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of GBP 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Konstantin Zvezdochetov - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Suffering Of The Christians And Savagery Of The Pagans, which sold at auction in November 2013 for GBP 74,500.00 (€ 89,650.78).

Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 30.000,00 (€ 36.100,98) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 20.000,00 – 30.000,00.
