Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Nicholas Ii by Konstantin Zvezdochetov was sold in the Contemporary East auction at Sothebys in London in November 2014. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 18,000.00 – 25,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 18,750.00 (€ 23,573.93) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Konstantin Zvezdochetov - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Suffering Of The Christians And Savagery Of The Pagans, which sold at auction in November 2013 for GBP 74,500.00 (€ 89,650.78).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Nicholas Ii von Konstantin Zvezdochetov wurde im November 2014 in der Auktion Contemporary East bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 18.000,00 – 25.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 18.750,00 (€ 23.573,93) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen.
