Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Sagittarius by Konstantin Zvezdochetov was sold in the Contemporary East auction at Sothebys in London in November 2014. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 10,000.00 – 15,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 10,625.00 (€ 13,358.56) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Konstantin Zvezdochetov have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Suffering Of The Christians And Savagery Of The Pagans in November 2013 with an auction result of GBP 74,500.00 (€ 89,650.78).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Sagittarius von Konstantin Zvezdochetov wurde im November 2014 in der Auktion Contemporary East bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 10.625,00 (€ 13.358,56) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Konstantin Zvezdochetov auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Suffering Of The Christians And Savagery Of The Pagans im November 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 74.500,00 (€ 89.650,78).
