This work without title by Kon Trubkovich was auctioned at Phillips in New York in March 2015. The result of USD 15,000.00 (€ 13,965.18) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of USD 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Kon Trubkovich - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Out of the black and into the white, which sold at auction in November 2017 for USD 56,250.00 (€ 47,276.85).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Kon Trubkovich kam im März 2015 bei Phillips in New York zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 15.000,00 (€ 13.965,18) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 15.000,00 – 20.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Kon Trubkovich mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Out of the black and into the white beobachtet, die im November 2017 für USD 56.250,00 (€ 47.276,85) versteigert wurde.
