Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work For The Heart by Koichi Sato was auctioned at Phillips in New York in May this year. Here, the upper estimate of USD 12,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 12,065.00 (€ 11,324.39). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Koichi Sato achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in April this year with an auction result of HKD 214,200.00 (€ 218,740.11).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit For The Heart von Koichi Sato kam im Mai diesen Jahres bei Phillips in New York zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 12.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 12.065,00 (€ 11.324,39) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Koichi Sato erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 214.200,00 (€ 218.740,11).
