Auction result well in line with expectations
In July last year Christies in New York held the auction Trespassing, which included the work Man with Harshness by Koichi Sato. The price achieved of USD 4,032.00 (€ 3,952.17) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Koichi Sato achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in April this year with an auction result of HKD 214,200.00 (€ 218,740.11).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juli letzten Jahres führte Christies in New York die Auktion Trespassing durch, in der auch die Arbeit Man with Harshness von Koichi Sato zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 4.032,00 (€ 3.952,17) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Koichi Sato erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 214.200,00 (€ 218.740,11).
