The work Kingdom by Koichi Sato was auctioned at Phillips in Hong Kong in July 2020. It achieved a price of HKD 237,500.00 (€ 26,021.32), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 32%. Admittedly, works by Koichi Sato have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work without title in April this year with an auction result of HKD 214,200.00 (€ 218,740.11).

Die Arbeit Kingdom von Koichi Sato kam im Juli 2020 bei Phillips in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 237.500,00 (€ 26.021,32) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 32%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Koichi Sato auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit ohne Titel im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 214.200,00 (€ 218.740,11).
