This artwork by Koichi Sato achieved an unexpectedly high price at Phillips in Online Auction in March 2021. In the INTERSECT: Online Auction auction, the work El Mariachi sold for HKD 163,800.00 (€ 17,938.07) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 90,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Koichi Sato achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in April this year with an auction result of HKD 214,200.00 (€ 218,740.11).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Koichi Sato erzielte im März 2021 bei Phillips in Online Auction einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion INTERSECT: Online Auction wurde die Arbeit El Mariachi für HKD 163.800,00 (€ 17.938,07) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 90.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Koichi Sato erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 214.200,00 (€ 218.740,11).
