The work De Scharensliep by Klaas Gubbels was auctioned at Christies in Amsterdam in November 2004. It achieved a price of EUR 7,767.50 exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 55 %. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Klaas Gubbels; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Tafel met kan en trechter sold at auction in June 2004 with the realized price of EUR 8,962.50.

Die Arbeit De Scharensliep von Klaas Gubbels kam im November 2004 bei Christies in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 7.767,50 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 55 %. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Klaas Gubbels; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Tafel met kan en trechter im Juni 2004 mit dem Hammerpreis von EUR 8.962,50.
