Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Table by Klaas Gubbels was sold in the Pictures Watercolours and Drawings auction at Christies in Amsterdam in September 2007. It changed hands for a price of EUR 1,875.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 1,500.00 – 2,000.00. Admittedly, works by Klaas Gubbels have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Tafel met kan en trechter in June 2004 with an auction result of EUR 8,962.50.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Table von Klaas Gubbels wurde im September 2007 in der Auktion Pictures Watercolours and Drawings bei Christies in Amsterdam versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 1.875,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 1.500,00 – 2.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Klaas Gubbels auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Tafel met kan en trechter im Juni 2004 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 8.962,50.
