Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Key Hiraga was sold in the Modern & Contemporary Art Online: A Moveable Feast auction at Christies in Hong Kong in October 2020. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 20,000.00 – 40,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 25,000.00 (€ 2,768.95) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Key Hiraga achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Fenetre (Window) in March 2018 with an auction result of HKD 875,000.00 (€ 90,482.95).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Key Hiraga wurde im Oktober 2020 in der Auktion Modern & Contemporary Art Online: A Moveable Feast bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 20.000,00 – 40.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 25.000,00 (€ 2.768,95) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Key Hiraga erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Fenetre (Window) im März 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 875.000,00 (€ 90.482,95).
