Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2021 China Guardian in Hong Kong held the auction Asian 20th Century and Contemporary Art, which included the work Work (Painted In 1961) by Key Hiraga. The price achieved of HKD 177,000.00 (€ 18,950.62) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 150,000.00 – 200,000.00. Admittedly, works by Key Hiraga have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Fenetre (Window) in March 2018 with an auction result of HKD 875,000.00 (€ 90,482.95).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April 2021 führte China Guardian in Hong Kong die Auktion Asian 20th Century and Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Work (Painted In 1961) von Key Hiraga zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 177.000,00 (€ 18.950,62) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 150.000,00 – 200.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Key Hiraga auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Fenetre (Window) im März 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 875.000,00 (€ 90.482,95).
