Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Shining Sea by Key Hiraga was auctioned at Phillips in Hong Kong in July 2020. The price achieved of HKD 325,000.00 (€ 35,608.12) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 280,000.00 – 350,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Key Hiraga - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Fenetre (Window), which sold at auction in March 2018 for HKD 875,000.00 (€ 90,482.95).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Shining Sea von Key Hiraga kam im Juli 2020 bei Phillips in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 325.000,00 (€ 35.608,12) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 280.000,00 – 350.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Key Hiraga mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Fenetre (Window) beobachtet, die im März 2018 für HKD 875.000,00 (€ 90.482,95) versteigert wurde.
