Auction result well in line with expectations
In May this year Bonhams in New York held the auction Modern & Contemporary Art and Southeast Asian Art, which included the work Two Figures by Key Hiraga. The price achieved of HKD 128,000.00 (€ 15,342.22) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 100,000.00 – 200,000.00. Admittedly, works by Key Hiraga have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Fenetre (Window) in March 2018 with an auction result of HKD 875,000.00 (€ 90,482.95).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai diesen Jahres führte Bonhams in New York die Auktion Modern & Contemporary Art and Southeast Asian Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Two Figures von Key Hiraga zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 128.000,00 (€ 15.342,22) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 100.000,00 – 200.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Key Hiraga auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Fenetre (Window) im März 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 875.000,00 (€ 90.482,95).
