Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Window by Key Hiraga was sold in the Modern and Contemporary Art auction at Bonhams in Hong Kong in November 2021. The price achieved of HKD 377,500.00 (€ 41,974.17) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 300,000.00 – 500,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Key Hiraga - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Fenetre (Window), which sold at auction in March 2018 for HKD 875,000.00 (€ 90,482.95).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Window von Key Hiraga wurde im November 2021 in der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Art bei Bonhams in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 377.500,00 (€ 41.974,17) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 300.000,00 – 500.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Key Hiraga mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Fenetre (Window) beobachtet, die im März 2018 für HKD 875.000,00 (€ 90.482,95) versteigert wurde.
