Auction result well in line with expectations
In December last year Bonhams in Hong Kong held the auction Modern and Contemporary Art, which included the work Mr. K's Afternoon by Key Hiraga. The price achieved of HKD 51,000.00 (€ 6,111.61) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Key Hiraga achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Fenetre (Window) in March 2018 with an auction result of HKD 875,000.00 (€ 90,482.95).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember letzten Jahres führte Bonhams in Hong Kong die Auktion Modern and Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Mr. K's Afternoon von Key Hiraga zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 51.000,00 (€ 6.111,61) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 40.000,00 – 60.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Key Hiraga erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Fenetre (Window) im März 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 875.000,00 (€ 90.482,95).
