Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Les Fenêtres (The Windows) by Key Hiraga was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in December 2020. The price achieved of HKD 400,000.00 (€ 42,191.33) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 280,000.00 – 480,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Key Hiraga - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Fenetre (Window), which sold at auction in March 2018 for HKD 875,000.00 (€ 90,482.95).

Die Arbeit Les Fenêtres (The Windows) von Key Hiraga kam im Dezember 2020 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 400.000,00 (€ 42.191,33) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 280.000,00 – 480.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Key Hiraga mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Fenetre (Window) beobachtet, die im März 2018 für HKD 875.000,00 (€ 90.482,95) versteigert wurde.
