Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work The Rock by Kenneth Price was auctioned at Christies in New York in November this year. Here, the upper estimate of USD 70,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 75,600.00 (€ 69,306.93). Admittedly, works by Kenneth Price have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work M. Green in May this year with an auction result of USD 554,400.00 (€ 520,367.94).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit The Rock von Kenneth Price kam im November diesen Jahres bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 70.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 75.600,00 (€ 69.306,93) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Kenneth Price auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit M. Green im Mai diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 554.400,00 (€ 520.367,94).
