Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In April 2007 Christies in London held the auction British, Continental & Russian Pictures, which included the work Painting on a summer's day by Ken Moroney. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 500.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 504.00 (€ 737.92). Admittedly, works by Ken Moroney have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Punch and Judy in September 2002 with an auction result of GBP 2,232.50 (€ 3,547.96).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im April 2007 führte Christies in London die Auktion British, Continental & Russian Pictures durch, in der auch die Arbeit Painting on a summer's day von Ken Moroney zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 500,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 504,00 (€ 737,92) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Ken Moroney auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Punch and Judy im September 2002 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 2.232,50 (€ 3.547,96).
