Auction result well in line with expectations
The work A Scottish coastal view at sunset by Ken Moroney was sold in the Christie's Interiors auction at Christies in London in March 2010. The price achieved of GBP 937.50 (€ 1,052.56) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 800.00 – 1,200.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Ken Moroney - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Punch and Judy, which sold at auction in September 2002 for GBP 2,232.50 (€ 3,547.96).
