Upper estimated price slightly exceeded

In September 2018 Sothebys in New York held the auction Contemporary Curated, which included this untitled work by Keith Sonnier. Here, the upper estimate of USD 35,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 40,000.00 (€ 34,417.48). Other works by Keith Sonnier have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of USD 62,500.00 (€ 45,935.62) in November 2013 for the work without title.

Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen

Im September 2018 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Contemporary Curated durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Keith Sonnier zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 35.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 40.000,00 (€ 34.417,48) einen neuen Besitzer. Andere Arbeiten von Keith Sonnier haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von USD 62.500,00 (€ 45.935,62) im November 2013 für die Arbeit ohne Titel beobachtet.
