Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In November this year Artcurial held the auction Limited Edition, which included the work Elliptical Shields Series V / Octogonal suite # 4- 2005 (green / green orange) by Keith Sonnier. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 1,500.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 1,574.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Keith Sonnier achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in November 2013 with an auction result of USD 62,500.00 (€ 45,935.62).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im November diesen Jahres führte Artcurial die Auktion Limited Edition durch, in der auch die Arbeit Elliptical Shields Series V / Octogonal suite # 4- 2005 (green / green orange) von Keith Sonnier zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 1.500,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 1.574,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Keith Sonnier erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im November 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 62.500,00 (€ 45.935,62).
