Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Video Still Series I-V by Keith Sonnier was auctioned at Christies in Milan in December last year. It changed hands for a price of EUR 1,386.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Keith Sonnier achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in November 2013 with an auction result of USD 62,500.00 (€ 45,935.62).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Video Still Series I-V von Keith Sonnier kam im Dezember letzten Jahres bei Christies in Mailand zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 1.386,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 1.000,00 – 1.500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Keith Sonnier erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im November 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 62.500,00 (€ 45.935,62).
